Python Core Engineer

Role

As a Python Core Engineer, you will build the high-performance infrastructure that powers our AI platforms. You will work deep in the stack — optimizing runtimes, building robust data pipelines, and creating the internal libraries and tooling that allow our teams to move fast without breaking things. This is a role for engineers who care as much about correctness and performance as they do about clean abstractions.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain core Python libraries, SDKs, and internal frameworks used across projects.
• Optimize performance-critical code paths in AI inference and data processing pipelines.
• Design and implement robust, observable data and event-driven systems.
• Contribute to developer tooling, testing infrastructure, and CI/CD pipelines.
• Collaborate with AI engineers to surface low-level capabilities through clean, ergonomic APIs.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of Python engineering experience with a focus on performance and reliability.
• Deep understanding of CPython internals, async patterns, and systems-level Python.
• Experience building production-grade data pipelines or high-throughput backend services.
• Strong grasp of software design principles: abstraction, testability, and backward compatibility.
• Familiarity with profiling, benchmarking, and performance optimization techniques.
